This product was published on I purchased this for a 2011 Yukon. The one time I used it, I tried to replace a spare tire. The end of this product that fits inside the spare tire hoist shaft felt like it was stripping. It would seat, but then it would start skipping/stripping itself and would not stay seated to the hoist. Then, the spring-loaded nipple that locks the extending shafts of this product together was not strong enough to stay seated, as when I tried pulling out the extension from the shaft, the two came apart and the extension was left stuck inside the shaft. Got it out eventually, I then found someone else with an GM OEM spare tire kit, which worked like a champ. I cannot not recommend this product. I can’t return it, as it’s scratched up at this point (after one use). Side by side, the metal is softer and much less dense than the OEM. Buyer beware.. I almost actually lost one of the pieces inside of the access tube. I don’t know if the end of it is made incorrectly or maybe if it just wasn’t made for my vehicle and the fitment was described wrong, but the tip didn’t hook onto anything, it did not work. I could not crank down the spare. The tool just spun in place.
